After 13 years in Downtown Fredericksburg, we are turning the page on what has been a truly incredible chapter of our business and welcoming a new beginning. On January 1st we will be saying a tearful farewell to Fredericksburg and moving our shop online. When one chapter closes, another one opens though and we're so excited to share that starting in January we will be operating out of our new warehouse right off I-95 in the Ashland/Hanover area, tucked in between Fredericksburg and Richmond!
From this new space we will continue to craft our products with the same heart and commitment to quality you know and love - now delivered straight to your door! We have some exciting new opportunities up our sleeves with this move such as new custom creations, subscription boxes, and specialty product drops! In the spring, we will also be launching our dedicated event space where we will be hosting specialty workshops, private events, and pop ups. Stay tuned on our social media where we will be sharing all the exciting details for these events!
Don't fret on your ability to shop our products locally though! Starting in January, our friends at Duly Noted will feature a selection of our most popular products so you can still shop your favorites right next door. Plus, we will be expanding our wholesale efforts beyond Fredericksburg to give you more opportunities to shop in person with us!
We have grown so much since we found our home here in Fredericksburg and the way the surrounding community has embraced us has truly touched our hearts over the years. After 13 years though, the health challenges that our owner Morgan has been navigating - including two major surgeries this year alone - has grown to be too much, so with our lease coming to an end we realized it was time to make a change that better supports her well being and ability to help our company grow. We will truly miss this town, but we are filled with so much gratitude for every moment and every person who has become a part of the Sugar and Spruce family!

Yes, it was nice having a wonderful shop like this in town and I did not have to travel to Lush to grab such wonderful bathing items. You will be missed and I wish you all the best and look forward to your new chapter!
