Celebrating National Business Women’s Day in Style - Adding a New Brand to the Family

One of the sweetest days of the year is upon us - National Business Women’s Day. As a collective, we held strong doing the best we could to navigate the unprecedented events of 2020. We saw many small businesses permanently close their doors for a variety of reasons. 

Sugar + Spruce is massively grateful for our supportive clientele. Seriously, you all are the best and we would not be here without you. Thank you. It makes this year’s National Business Women’s Day that much more meaningful and champagne-popping worthy. Women all over the world are building and supporting each other in measurable ways - creating a brighter future for everyone. 

Amid a pandemic, female business owners showed up staring adversity straight in the eyes. Starting 1,821 net new businesses every day last year! There are now 114% more women entrepreneurs than there were 20 years ago and generate $1.8 TRILLION a year in the US alone. Hello, momentum. 

Speaking of momentum, we’re excited to announce the launch of Belladonna & Co. at Sugar + Spruce! Belladonna & Co. is a handmade jewelry line from our very own co-owner, Morgan Wellman. 

Handmade earrings have hit the catwalks and streets hard. Becoming a bold and creative way to spruce up any outfit. Morgan followed many popular creators in the space. However, purchasing their latest releases posed many challenges ranging from unorganized direct messaging ordering or simply selling out before she could get her hands on a pair. 

Jewelry making was a creative outlet she grew up doing with her mom and fellow co-owner, Crystal Wellman. So in true Business Woman fashion, she decided to curate earrings and began to build unique fashion-forward collections. Ranging in a variety of styles, shapes, and colors while exclusively using nickel free materials. 

Launching Saturday, September 25, 2021 - Belladonna & Co. will be available in-store and online. Belladonna & Co. is for anyone that enjoys playing up their style, dares to be bold, and shows up unapologetically authentic. This Fall themed collection leaves you feeling beautiful, but lowkey deadly.
